Hi, I’m Lauren - creator of Mill Road Studios
For over a decade I’ve worked in radio and podcasting, both on and off-air in both private and public domains. In 2021, I moved with my family to the Adelaide Hills and decided to go freelance, which is where we are today. Prior to this I was a mine and resource geologist, so if you like audio, and rocks - I’m your woman.
I have a great ear for a good yarn (probably from binge-reading books as a kid) and pin-pointing the lead in a story. I work well in larger teams or a one-on-one capacity. I’m a self-starter, problem-solver, work exceptionally well under pressure (although would ideally prefer not to do this), and have a no-nonsense work ethic. I love a good laugh, and often do this loudly.
If you’re fond of using words like “circle-back”, “drilling down” and “no brainer”, we’re probably not going to be “on the same page”. But if you love random facts, funny anecdotes, and getting sh*t done, you should contact me asap, let’s see if we can work together!
